"I know Stu and Eric Weber, and I know that they love God and those in pastoral ministry. Their dream of a retreat center in beautiful central Oregon, a get-away for pastors and their wives, could be used of God to bring refreshment, encouragement and new zeal for ministry to the battle-weary. Stu and Eric's vision for Kerith Springs Lodge resonates with me in light of Christ's invitation to his disciples: "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest" (Mark 6:31). This sort of quiet place, one that offers not only rest but spiritual enrichment, isn't easy to find in this hyper-busy culture. Kerith Springs has the potential to bring help, healing, perspective and renewed energy. I join Stu and Eric in praying that if God so desires, He would raise up this refuge of refreshment. By the grace of Jesus, may He use it to make an eternal investment in pastors' lives, and thereby revitalize His church.

I've thought and written about eternal perspective, and years ago named our organization Eternal Perspective Ministries. I believe that it's not only right, but smart to invest our resources--which really belong not to us but to God--in what will last for eternity. What we try to hang onto will ultimately perish, but whatever we put into God's hands will have eternal impact.
I don't presume to know God's direction for your life, but I believe Kerith Springs Lodge could be an eternal investment God wants you to consider. Supporting Kerith Springs could encourage the hearts and strengthen the hands of those who lead, teach, and guide God's people. And that's an investment opportunity worth prayerfully considering.

Jesus said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). May God bless you as you seek his guidance as to where to invest his assets, to honor Him and further His kingdom."

"If Stu and Eric are going into battle, I'd like to tag along to see what will happen. In this case they are battling for pastors who are on the front lines of spiritual warfare 24/7. Every pastor and his wife need time away to be refreshed and encouraged. I believe that Stu and Eric are being led by the Lord in this venture. That's why I'm motivated to line up behind them and support them in whatever way that I can. I hope that you will as well."

"Pastors and wives spend their lives caring for the souls of others...that's what they are called to do! But the sad reality is that often the needs of their own hearts go unnoticed and very few seem to care for the barrenness of their souls. Bravo for Stu and Eric who have this passion for "Kerith Springs Lodge"...The time has come to refresh the weary hearts of these special people!"

"The local church pastor faces trials and challenges that few other Christians face. They are on the frontlines fighting for the Kingdom and can become weary and wounded from their daily battles. Kerith Spring Lodge will offer pastors a vital time of renewal, refreshment, and reconnecting with God and with their spouse. Please prayerfully consider how you might be a part of this vision to build into the lives of pastors through your financial giving."

"Anytime an attempt is made to reach out and provide a place of shelter for spiritual leaders to be encourages and refreshed is making the right decision. The vision set forth for Keith Springs is a God idea and is greatly needed for the Northwest. May God touch the dream on the paper and make it a reality."
